Cranbrook gets road win over Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes 46-35.
The Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Cranes defeated the Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers 46-35 last night.
Junior Evan Evans led the Cranes with 10 points, while junior John Kersh added 13 rebounds in support.
Senior Percy Allen led the Lakers with 16 points in the loss
WOLL took the early lead by pushing out to a 23-18 lead at half time with Allen getting points in the low post. Junior Luke Ronquillo and junior Keldon Koshorek added to the Lakers early scoring behind good ball movement.
But Cranbrook staged a second half comeback, with a rally in the 3rd quarter. Evans and sophomore Cooper Gurman made 3-pointers to lead the scoring. Junior Bora Akgun found points in the paint to help seal the victory.
Cranbrook continues its CHSL schedule hosting a game against Macomb Lutheran North on Thursday, while WOLL hosts Roscommon on Saturday.
