#15 Rochester Adams holds off comeback attempt from #11 Clarkston
Rochester Adams has been playing great football this year and their only loss is by a single point to West Bloomfield.
The Highlanders were arguably better than the 15th ranked team in the state entering the week and when the lights went out on Friday, they certainly proved they'll be higher and have a strong case to be in the top 10 of the entire state.
Two Senior Runningbacks eclipsed 100+ rushing yards in the game: 2018 RB Chase Kareta added 2 rushing touchdowns and 2018 RB/LB Steve Roncelli had the other touchdown run plus several nice rushes and some key stops on defense including a forced fumble. Missouri commit Vincent Gray had an interception that setup Adams 21-0 lead. Roncelli holds a preferred walk-on opportunity from Eastern Michigan.
Clarkston scored 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter, but had 2 more chances to even the score. Both times Rochester Adams forced Clarkston to turn the ball over on downs.
