Richard was strong on defense against Mooney, led by Max Hatty, Josh Tufts, Devin Slaughter and Christian Barrera. Overall, the Pioneers held the Cardinals to less than 100 yards of offense. Richard's Nathan Palumbo had a 60-yard touchdown run, which was his first varsity touchdown. Quarterback Devin Gleason accounted for three touchdowns in the game, as he scored on a one-yard sneak, a 27 yard run and threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Sebastian McWilliams.
