OK Conference Top Performers: Week 4

We're a month into the regular season as teams across the area have begun to solidify themselves in the league races across the OK Conference. Below are the athletes who stood out the most in week four.

Zak Ahern, QB, Rockford 2022”

Zak scored five touchdowns on the ground and one through the air in Rockford’s 53-46 double overtime win over Grandville. Rockford sits atop the OK Red Conference standings tied with Caledonia at 4-0 and 2-0 in league play.

Mason McKenzie, QB, Caledonia 2023”

Mason ran for two touchdowns and threw for another in Caledonia’s 36-9 win over East Kentwood. Caledonia will host Grand Haven in week five.

Trey Carr, QB, Hudsonville 2023”

Trey completed 14-of-26 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns in Hudsonville’s 23-22 win over Jenison. The Eagles have won back-to-back games after starting the season 0-2.

Hunter Robinson, QB, Forest Hills Central 2022”

Hunter completed 9-of-11 passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for 106 yards and a touchdown in the Ranger’s 30-7 win over Lowell. Forest Hills Central will host Greenville in week five.

Jacob Bonnett, WR, Forest Hills Central 2022”

Jacob caught six passes for 98 yards and a touchdown, and had a touchdown run in the Ranger’s win.

Matt Toole, QB, Northview 2022”

Matt completed 15-of-21 passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for 81 yards and a touchdown in the Wildcat’s 35-31 win over Forest Hills Northern.

Jalen Charity, WR, Northview 2022”

Jalen caught nine passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-inning score with 14 seconds left in Northview’s win.

Aviere Thomas WR/KR/DB, Grand Rapids Christian 2022”

Aviere returned a kickoff for a touchdown, an interception for a score, and caught a 55 yard touchdown pass in the Eagles’ 49-19 win over Greenville.

Bryson Kuzdzal, RB, Forest Hills Eastern 2023”

Bryson ran for 148 yards and three touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass in the Hawk’s 41-20 win over Middleville Thornapple Kellogg.

Keymarion Gibson, RB, Ottawa Hills 2024”

Kaymarion ran for 146 yards and three touchdowns in Ottawa Hills’ 28-20 overtime win over Wayland.

Tim Kloska, RB, West Catholic 2023”

Tim ran for 340 yards and four touchdowns in West Catholic’s 50-14 win over Hamilton.

Tyler DeWitt, RB, Comstock Park 2022”

Tyler ran for 134 yards and three touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass in Comstock Park’s 59-18 win over Godwin Heights.
