Throughout the week, we will provide previews for some of the top matchups throughout each round of the playoffs.

Division 4 Matchup:

Harper Woods (6-3)

Take away two blowout losses against two of the best teams in Divisions 1 and 2, respectively, and Harper Woods dominated its competition this fall. The Pioneers ended the regular season on a four-game win streak, while scoring at least 44 points in each contest. Harper Woods has some high-profile names and remained a top-50 team in the state despite the early losses. If they can put it all together, they could surprise some people this postseason.

Redford Union (8-1)

The Panthers lost by 22 points to Harper Woods in Week 1, and then bounced back with eight straight wins to close out the season. Redford Union allowed just 99 points this fall, while limiting opponents under 15 points in six games, including their final five contests. This is Redford Union’s sixth straight playoff appearance after making the postseason just once from 2008 through 2018.
